SSE/Sanitary Piping Module has Arrived.

Two years in development...

After nearly two years in development SSE Software Corporation of Louisville Kentucky is announcing the Version 1.0 release of their SSE/Sanitary™ Piping module. This module attaches to a true hybrid piping program called CADWorx/PIPE™ a COADE® Engineering Software.

SSE/Sanitary™ is a piping module that caters to the Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical / Bio and Chemical industries.

From the SSE Toolbars you can automatically insert and draw any and all fittings provided in the Clamp, Bevel-Seat, Iclamp, TOD, BPE, JP, SMS and Weld lines of sanitary tube fittings, Hand valves and Air valves. These fittings and valves are in every case extremely close in all dimensional (Imperial inches or metric) sizing to the manufacturers.  You may E-mail, call or check our website to find out which manufacturers modules we supply, free of charge.

By using the SSE toolbars the program will automatically draw any of the parts shown. This module also offers most the optional parts that are listed in a manufactures catalog.

Once the part is chosen it inserts the part into the drawing in a single, double line, 2D or 3D view.

When a Bill-of-Material (BOM) is produced in this module it will bring all of the sanitary parts that you have asked for into a BOM form. In this form it will give you the amount of the individual parts, an SSE part number (resembling most manufactures part numbers) and a full description of each part. This form will be valuable in ordering.

Soon we will release SSE/ESTIMATOR™. This module will include list prices, extended prices, Labor-to-install hours, Labor-to-install pricing, a full description of each part and an area for discounts.  All of the above will be produced in a spreadsheet that is driven by very extensive databases (over 25,000 parts at this time). These databases are updated at least once a year in order to add/delete parts or change pricing.

The Fittings, Handvalves and Airvalves are the first of several modules that SSE will offer.  Future modules will include the type of Hangers, Pumps, Tanks, Instrumentation, Heat Exchangers and CIP units that are used in the sanitary industries.  With each new Module we will also offer an ESTIMATOR option.

CADWorx/PIPE™

CADWorx/PIPE is COADE's advanced piping design program for use in any sized project using 2D orthographics, isometrics or 3D modeling.

2D,3D,Single-or Double-Line & Solid Modeling

No time to create specifications CADWorx/PIPE specifications are complete and ready to use right out of the box. COADE has included detailed specifications for 150, 300, 600, 900 and 1500 pound piping components plus DIN, FRP, Lined, Victaulic and Sanitary components. Data files for the creation of 2500 pound and PVC specifications are also available. These specifications can be quickly duplicated and modified to suit the requirements of any customer. CADWorx/PIPE’s powerful specification editor works from within a drawing session or externally, enabling you to create and modify specifications on-the-fly.

Point and Shoot UCS

Three-dimensional modeling has never been easier. CADWorx/PIPE frees you from the constraints of other CAD piping packages. Tired of setting an elevation every time you add a component or having to work only in world coordinates?  Now you can simply designate the working plane (north, south, east, west or flat), pick an origin and start to work. Placing components vertically or at different elevations is fast and trouble free. Working with cluttered drawings?  Clipping commands are available for displaying your selected depth around the current UCS position.  Freedom and flexibility are the trademarks of CADWorx/PIPE.

Automatic Elevations and Sections

Now you can automatically generate orthographic elevations from developed plans. Modify the elevations and reinsert them back in the plan. Create plans from these modified elevations or elevations from the modified plans.  It's your choice.

Automatic Pipe Routing

When you use CADWorx/PIPE, complex never means complicated. Pipe routing is a snap. Draw a simple 2D or 3D routing line, then use the built-in router to attach pipe and elbows. You can apply piping at any angle in any direction. You can use buttweld, socket weld or threaded components and apply trimmed elbows quickly and easily. Rolling offsets are a breeze. Also, the router gives you all the options you need: sloped, elevation changes and more. You have everything needed to produce clean, quick and logical piping layouts.

Precision Equipment Routines

When accuracy matters, you can count on CADWorx/PIPE.  For example, detail an F&D head and you will be prompted for each important dimension — dish and knuckle radii, straight flange and so on — to ensure error-free results. You will be surprised how easy it is to add tanks, vessels, pumps and heads. CADWorx/PIPE also comes with primitives that allow you to create any equipment shape you require.
